Astronomy

Ever since a child I have held a keen interest in Astrononomy. This interest has never died away - in fact it has gotten stronger as I have gotten older! I own a considerable amount of astronomical equipment, and this collection increases year by year. I have been practicing Amateur astronomy now for over 10 years and I have gradually improved my imaging skills to a level I am satisfied with.

At present, I currently own the following equipment:

  • Skywatcher Evostar-ED 120 DS-Pro Doublet Apochromatic Refractor Telescope
  • Skywatcher 0.85x Focal Reducer
  • Bahnitov Mask for focusing
  • QHY5L-II Mono Planetary/Guide Scope (Connected to finderscope)
  • TAL 3x Barlow Lens
  • Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 GT Equatorial Mount
  • Dell Latitude D630 Laptop
  • T-Ring Adapter for Canon EOS Cameras
  • Canon EOS 60D 18MP DSLR Camera (Unmodified)
  • Astronomik CLS-CCD Filter (To remove light pollution from images)
